CRO Auditions
Districts I and III
The Central Regional Orchestra is an orchestra composed of 7th, 8th, and 9th-grade students. Students are placed in the “A” orchestra or “B” Orchestra based on their audition scores. Ninth (9th) grade students are only allowed to audition if they have not participated in the Senior Regional Orchestra event. Due to the high number of students who audition, please be prepared on your audition material. Review the audition requirements carefully. Please do not audition if you are not available for the event.
Scale Requirements:
Violin, Viola, Cello (2-octave scales)
C, G, D, A, F, Bb, Eb
Bass
F and G (2-octave)
C, D, A, Bb, Eb (1-octave)
